AFTER DUMPING CROYDON out of the Crisp Shield in the previous game, Barking & Dagenham lined up against fellow semi-finalists Bexley in a thrilling see-saw friendly at May & Bakers.

The tone was set in the second minute when the home side quickly fell behind before equalising immediately via last week's two-goal hero MJ Folkes.

Barking & Dagenham dominated possession and territory but were undone twice on the break to trail 3-1 at half-time.

Gloveman Jack Kemsley, enjoying a foray on the front-line, netted his first District goal after being put through by playmaker Max Watters.

Sorba Thomas equalised, then grabbed the winner, with a pair of typically skillful solo breaks, to extend his season's tally to eight.
