Boys Are The Cream Of Jersey

BARKING & DAGENHAM PRIMARY U11S DISTRICT side produced a dramatic finish to secure first place in the prestigious ESFA Jersey Festival of Football. MJ Folkes' last minute strike in the final game ensured top spot in a competition consisting of ten of the country's leading sides.

That goal prompted delighted scenes of celebration amongst the travelling entourage in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Plymouth.

Earlier in the week, big wins over Orpington, Gloucester, Jersey and Chiltern, along with a disappointing defeat to South Birmingham, meant that Barking & Dagenham qualified for the final play-off match in fine style.
