Girls' District Squad Announced
THE STANDARD AT the final Girls' District Trial was very high and, whilst some of the girls are not quite ready for District football at present, they are all capable of playing regularly for a club and we would encourage any of them who are interested to do so.
Unfortunately, we do not foresee a place in the side for the following pupils:
Amber Bahra (Roding), Faith Efemwen (Godwin), Coral Coote (Hunters Hall), Bethany Okerenta (St Margaret’s), Jubilee Ngandu (Thomas Arnold), Tilly Pearson (Manor), Amy Heard (Parsloes)
These girls should feel very proud of themselves however for reaching this stage and they all represented their school with distinction.
We do not wish to reject any of the remaining players although we are unable to guarantee them all a game every time. As such, we have selected a reserve squad as well. It is a possibility that some of the reserve squad may not receive a call but we will look into opportunities to provide football for as many of them as possible.
Please congratulate the following players on their selection for the Barking & Dagenham Girls’ District Team and Reserve Squad for 2010:

The pupils selected in the MAIN SQUAD will be required to attend an important training session on Tuesday 2nd February March at the Goals Centre Dagenham, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Essential information will be distributed regarding forthcoming fixtures so all pupils should have a parent or parent’s representative on site. Pupils should dress for playing football, wearing shin pads and trainers.
