Godwin Get Girls Going

AFTER FINISHING AS runners-up for the past two seasons, Godwin signalled their aspirations to go one better with a pair of convincing wins over St Margaret’s and Ripple.

Briony Hagger completed a hat-trick against Ripple, with Louise Dove, Faith Ekemwen and Hollie Ross adding two apiece. Morgan-Lilly Duffield also scored her first competitive goal to complete a resounding 10-0 win.

St Margaret's cruised to a 3-0 win against the same opponents before another Hagger hat-trick, plus a further goal from the hard-working Dove brought a 4-1 victory for Godwin in the final game of the afternoon.
