BARKING & DAGENHAM SHARED in a seven goal thriller for the second week in succession. However, this time, the result went in favour of their opponents as unbeaten Havering remained top of the Essex SFA Finch League.

The District side were under the cosh for much of the first period. Keeper Jack Kemsley was on hand to deny any threats on goal whilst top-scorer Sorba Thomas' effort was cruelly held up by the mud!

Goalless at half-time, the game sprung into life after the interval when Max Watters fired a twenty-five yard free-kick into the top corner for his fifth of the season.

Havering's response underlined why they sit on top of the table as they quickly sped into a 3-1 lead.

Michael Turner brought his side back into it, rifling a crackerjack from outside the penalty area.

MJ Folkes chipped in with a further goal but Havering had already added another of their own to edge out their opponents by the narrowest of margins.
