Shield Be Coming Around The Mont-again When Three Comes!

FOR THE SECOND successive year, Godwin girls lifted the Monteagle Shield to complete a memorable year's football for the Finnymore Road side. The borough six-a-side title now sits alongside the London 5-a-side Cup and the BDSFA Girls' League Trophy, wrapping up a hat-trick of major titles for the school.

The tournament began with a 0-0 draw between Hunter's Hall and St Joseph's Red before Godwin chalked up 6-0 and 3-0 wins against St Joseph's Red and Blue respectively.

Hall got three goals and three points against St Joseph's Blue before a 0-0 draw between themselves and Godwin handed the latter the championship.
