St Joseph's Are Champions
ST JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC Primary School lifted their first ever BDSFA Girls' League title, edging past Rush Green in the deciding game of the season.
With Godwin hot on their heels, only a win would secure them the trophy and they duly delivered although they had to work hard for the victory, only gaining the lead with four minutes of the game remaining.
Two goals from Elicia Wells and one from Megan King set up the win despite heroics in the Rush Green goal from District keeper Emma Lancaster.
Godwin and Dorothy Barley meet on Thursday to settle the runners-up spot.
