Getting There

THE ISLAND OF Jersey is situated of the North West coast of France. Therefore traveling to the Festival requires more than one form of transport.

To begin with, the squad must travel by coach from Dagenham Swimming Pool to London’s Gatwick airport. This part of the journey depends on traffic but should take just over an hour.

Once luggage has been checked in, there is a two-hour wait until the flight. The plane is only in the air for a short time. In the past, flights have taken between twenty-five minutes and an hour, depending on the route.

Arrival at the hotel follows a short twenty-minute drive by mini-bus.
